It is truly tiny! And of course, it cannot be as sturdy as even a regular portable umbrella. But it is SO LIGHT, I would actually pack this on a trip, and I ration ounces, as I am a tiny old lady with no upper body strength to speak of. Get you this—you will not be disappointed (unless you have crazy expectations, and then, well, can't help you with rain or umbrellas or anything else).
